WHO AM I

Jonney Almond - Owner

After a career in high-performance and recreational sport, I set up JA Fitness to spread my knowledge on all things Fitness, Strength & Conditioning, Weight-Loss and Sports Performance.


My passion for fitness, sport & a healthy lifestyle began at a young age and has been a constant throughout my life. I have coached and competed at World Championship level in Cheerleading, competing for Team England and coaching athletes to this level for 7 years and I have played many sports recreationally in my time.


For over a decade, I’ve been passionate about coaching and guiding individuals (and teams) on their fitness and sporting journeys. I employ a variety of methods to share my knowledge with you, boost your confidence and support you in achieving your goals, whatever they may be.

The BEST Process

At JA Fitness, there are 4 stages to your fitness & sports performance programme.

BELIEVE


At the start of your programme you will undergo testing and goal setting that are catered to your specific needs. Whether it is weight loss, strength/speed increases or general fitness your goals are set to be achievable, in both the short and long term.

ELEVATE


Your programme has been designed to your specific needs. With 2+ sessions per week in the gym, top quality coaching and guidance along the way, this is the start of your unique fitness journey with us, whether you’re a beginner or experienced trainer.

STRIVE


You are training regularly and are progressing towards your specific goals. Targets set at the start of your programme are starting to feel achievable and your confidence is boosted. Goals are being monitored and assessed throughout.

THRIVE


As your training intensifies, your goals are very close/have been achieved. You start to see the difference in yourself, whether it is weight loss, feeling stronger or performing better in your sport. The programme is working and you are fitter and more confident.
